William Gordon Quinton, 75, of Laconia, NH passed away at home on November 4, 2026, after a brief illness.

William was the son of the late William and Ruth (Ross) Quinton. He grew up in Malden, MA and graduated from Malden High School class of 1970. Upon graduation he went into the Army and was a proud veteran who served in Vietnam. 

Bill had a successful career as a Millwright. 

Bill loved his family, his workshop/garage, his much-used tools and his Motorcycles.

He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughter Kerri Ann Weiden of Reading, MA, his son Matthew (Marcia) of Sacramento, CA, his grandchildren Aidan, Lindsey, Nathaniel and Brendan.

He is survived by his sister Bette (Arthur) Bergh of Malden and by special cousins Paula Rowe of Danvers, Donnie (Denise) Ratti of Woburn Ma and the late Kathy Ulrich of Danvers, MA. Bill was loved by many cousins, nieces and nephews as well as by his close friend and former wife Maureen O'Brien.

A visitation will be held at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home25Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Tuesday November 10, 2026, from 4pm-6:30PM. A prayer service with military honors will be held following the visitation at 6:30PM. Burial is private.
