William D. McIntosh, Jr. of Wilmington died April 6, 2018.  He was the beloved husband of the late Norma (Oldfield) McIntosh.  Cherished uncle of Peter J. Pessotti (Francesca) of Milford, Joseph R. Pessotti of Hopedale, Jeanette Doura of Bellingham, Deborah Barrows of Milford, Ronald, Keith, Stephen, John, Richard and Paul Oldfield.  Brother of the late Gertrude McIntosh.  A funeral service will be held on Thursday April12 at 11:00am at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading.  Burial with military honors will follow at Charles Lawn Cemetery, Reading.  A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:00am at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in William's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.  William was a veteran of WW II U.S. Army
