Rudolph "Rudy" A. Liberatore of Reading, February 05, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Rita (Razzaboni) Liberatore. Devoted father of Robert Liberatore and his wife Catherine of Wilmington and Joanne Liberatore Smith and her husband Robert of Reading. Cherished grandfather of Robert Liberatore, Jr., Erin Smith Henson, Regina Smith Young, Jessica Smith and Anthony Liberatore. Loving great grandfather of Ryan Liberatore, Callen Liberatore, Jackson Young and Addison Young. A Funeral Service will be held in the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Monday, February 8, at 11am. Interment to follow at Charles Lawn Cemetery, Reading. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-6pm. In lieu of flowers contributions in Rudy's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, Mass., 02472. Rudy worked for the Postal Service and Stop & Shop. He was also a well known musician who performed locally from the 1940's thru the late 1990's playing the saxophone, flute and clarinet.
