Richard J. Ward of Westminster, formerly of Reading, suddenly April 2, 2018.  Devoted father of Brittany L. Ward of Quincy, Lisa March of Templeton and Mery Buono of Sudbury.  Loving grandfather of Matthew, Sophia and Anna.  Cherished bother of Elizabeth M. Ward and her husband Thomas Loughlin of Reading and Robert S. Ward, Jr. and his wife Gail of Orinda, CA.  Loving uncle of Rob and Matt Ward; Hayley, Hannah and Emma Loughlin.  Loving Grand uncle of Matt and Liliana Ward. He is also survived by several cousins.  Funeral service celebrating his life will be held Monday, April 9 at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading at 12:00pm.  Burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.  A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-12:00.
