Priscilla S. (Stiles) Poehler, a life-long resident of Reading, Massachusetts, passed away after a brief illness on October 14, 2026. She was 88 years of age.

Priscilla was born in Medford, Massachusetts on August 5, 1938, the daughter of Arthur F. and Hazel (Flood) Stiles. Priscilla grew up in Reading and was a member of the Old South United Methodist Church. She was a long-time member of Priscilla Chapter #52 Order of Eastern Star of which she was a past Worthy Matron. She also served the Order of Eastern Star at the state level as Deputy Grand Marshal. She was also a member of the Westside Historical Society in Reading.

Priscilla was the devoted mother of Julie E. Pizzano and her husband Charles of Reading and Linda S. Smith and her husband Don of Woburn and the late Bradley D. Poehler. Loving grandmother of C.J. Pizzano and loving great grandmother of Ruby Grace Pizzano. Cherished sister of the late Muriel Ellis and the late Ruth Cutliffe. She is survived by her brother in-law Bill Cutliffe of Osterville.

Visiting hours will be held for Priscilla at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 4-7PM. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held in the Chapel of the Old South United Methodist Church 6 Salem St. Reading on Tuesday October 20, 2026, at 10AM. Burial will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
