Paul W. Hultgren, a resident of Reading for 62 years, died October 31, 2013 at the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Wilmington. He was 90 years of age. Paul was born in Woburn, Massachusetts on February 19, 1923. He graduated Woburn High School class of 1940. He proudly served his country during World War II in the US Navy. He was a self-employed Mast Plumber in the town of Reading for 33 years retiring in 1985. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Reading. Past President of the Reading Kiwanis Club, Past President of the Mystic Valley Master Plumbers Assoc. and Past Commodore of the Mystic Wellington Yacht Club. Paul was the beloved husband of Mary Alice (Heyd) Hultgren. Devoted father of Gary W. Hultgren of Lowell; Paul N. Hultgren of Laconia NH; and Lisa Ann Hultgren of Billerica. Cherished brother of Evelyn A. Ewing of Plaistow NH and the late Herbert Hultgren. Loving grandfather of Terri Ann, Christine Marie, and Jeffrey Hultgren. At the request of the family services and burial are private and there are no visiting hours.
