Norbert A. Wels, a resident of Reading for 50 years, died on July 7, 2016. He was 82 years of age. Norbert was born in Monroe, Wisconsin on April 20, 1934 the son of the late Joseph and Sophia Wels. He was a retired Account Executive for Keystone Paper and Box Company in Woburn, MA and was a member of St. Agnes Church. He was the Beloved husband of the late Agnes R. (Kelley) Wels. Devoted father of Nancy Walsh and her husband Richard of Bedford, NY and Leslie Hall of Reading. Brother of Joe Wels of Madison, WI and Lydia West of Canada. Loving grandfather of Courtney and Andrew Hall, Shawn Walsh and loving great grandfather of Julianna Colon. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading on Wednesday, July 13, at 10:30am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the Douglass, Edgerley & Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) in Reading on Tuesday from 2-5 pm.
