Michael W. Keane of North Reading, Massachusetts, formerly of Reading, Massachusetts, died December 10, 2013 at the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. He was 56 years old. Michael was born in Westerly, Rhode Island on March 21, 1957. He was the son of Bill and Patricia (Curley) Keane of Pawcatuck, CT. Michael was a resident of Reading for 33 years prior to moving to North Reading less than a year ago. Michael graduated from Bentley College in 1979 with a Bachelor's in Accounting and later received his MBA from Bentley College. Michael worked as a CPA for over 20 years and was currently the owner and operator of Keane and Co. in Lynnfield. Michael was an avid Patriots fan. He attended last Sundays Patriots/Browns game with his closest friends as well as attending all of the Patriot Super Bowls. Michael loved to travel. He mostly enjoyed traveling to Florida to play golf and go to Disney World with his family. He was also a huge Jimmy Buffett fan attending many of his concerts. Michael was the beloved husband of Donna M. (Burnham) Keane. Devoted father of Shannon M. Keane of South Boston, MA and Meredith V. Keane of N. Reading, MA. Loving brother of James Keane of Pawcatuck CT and Kerry Carlini of Westerly, RI. He leaves his best friend Steve Morse of Lynnfield, MA and many other loving friends, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 13 from 4-8PM at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading, MA. Funeral services and burial are private by request of the family.
