Maurice Valley, Jr. of Salem, Massachusetts passed away on February 27, 2024 at the Salem Hospital.  He was 77 years of age.  Maurice was born on April 18, 1946 in Rochester, New Hampshire and was the son of the late Maurice Valley, Sr. and Dorothy M. (Lafay) Valley.

Maurice was an employee of Cummings Properties in Woburn for many years. He also worked as florist through-out his career.

Maurice was a member of the First Baptist Church in Reading for over 40 years. Over those years he served in many capacities including as a men's bible study leader, an adult Sunday school teacher and most recently a Sunday school leader for the youth. He loved reading his bible every day!

A Memorial Service will be held for Maurice at the First Baptist Church 45 Woburn St. in Reading on Saturday, March 16 at 10:00am.  There are no visiting hours and burial is private.
