Louise M. (Smith) Hart, a resident of Reading for 65 years, died October 31, 2016. She was 98 years of age. Louise was born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 20, 1918 the daughter of James and Edith (Young) Smith.

Louise was a member of the Old South United Methodist Church in Reading and was active at the Reading Senior Center. Her family was first and foremost in her life.

Louise was the beloved wife of the late Alfred L. Hart. Devoted mother of William J. Hart and his wife Anne, Kenneth R. Hart and his wife Sara and Susan Mullet and her husband Michael all of North Reading. Loving grandmother of Craig, Jason, and Kevin Mullet; Olivia Mandica-Hart, Jonathan and Alexander Hart and she is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 4 at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading at 11:00am.
