James F. Agneta of Brighton, formerly of Malden, died suddenly on February 26, 2014. He was 49 years of age. James was born in Medford, Massachusetts on March 13, 1964, the son of the late Robert L. and Rose B. (Santosuosso) Agneta. James was a graduate of Malden High School class of 1982. He was an avid Boston sports fan and in his youth James enjoyed playing hockey. James' family was first and foremost in his life. He was the cherished brother of Lisa M. Green and her husband David of Reading and the late Robert and Anthony Agneta. He was the step-brother of Tabitha Finn and her husband P.J. of Falmouth. He was the loving uncle of Joseph, Michael, Christina and Elizabeth. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, March 4 from 6-8PM at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading. Burial is private by request of the family.
