Irene B. LeShane, 85, a resident of West Boylston, Massachusetts passed away on July 13, 2024, at the Oakdale Rehabilitation and Long-term Care in West Boylston, Massachusetts.

Irene was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on July 11, 1939, and is the cherished daughter of the late Donald W. LeShane, Sr. and Suzie Stella (Reid) LeShane.

Irene grew up in Cambridge and Malden Massachusetts and attended local schools. She worked for decades at Liberty Mutual Insurance Company of Boston in the underwriting department.

Among her favorite things to do were attending church, Bible study and participating in the Senior Adults Ministry (SAM) group. She especially enjoyed researching her family history and genealogy. It cannot go without saying that Irene showed great devotion to her family, never missing anyone's birthday or anniversary without sending a card.

Irene is predeceased by sisters Carol Wheeler and Lillian Wheeler and brothers-in-law Richard Wheeler and William Magnusson.

She is survived by siblings June (George) Zolezzi of Millbrae CA, Donald (Gail) LeShane of Hudson NH, Ronald (Nancy) LeShane of Princeton MA, Linda Magnusson of Hudson NH and brother-in-law Ronald Wheeler of Atkinson NH. She is beloved Aunt to scores of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 19 at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.), Reading from 9:30AM -10:30AM followed by a funeral service celebrating Irene's life at the First Baptist Church, 45 Woburn St. in Reading at 11:00AM. The committal service will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley St., Nashua NH at 1:30PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Irene's memory to the First Baptist Church, 45 Woburn St., Reading MA 01867.
