Frederick Pratt of Reading passed away on October 24, 2017. He was 95 years of age. Fred was born in Winnipeg, Canada on September 2, 1922 the son of the late Frederick and Mary D. (Stafford) Pratt. Fred was the husband of the late June Marjorie (McComb) Pratt. Father of Gordon F. Pratt of Anza, CA and Lorraine M. Chase and her husband William of Reading. He was the grandfather of Tom Chase of Quincy and Becky Bastian of Berkeley, CA. A funeral service celebrating his life will be held at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Monday, October 30 at 12:00PM. Burial will follow at Wood End Cemetery, Reading. There are no visiting hours.
