Frederick H. Johnson III of Reading passed away suddenly on July 29, 2025.  He was 93 years of age.

Fred was the beloved husband of the late Margaret C. (O'Keefe) Johnson.  Devoted father of the late Frederick H. Johnson IV and loving uncle of Peggy Parent of Plymouth MA and Donna Bean-Keefe of Pompano Beach, FL.

A visitation for Fred will be held at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Friday, August 8, 2025, from 9-10am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Theresa's Church 63 Winter St. North Reading at 10:30am.  Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in W. Roxbury.
