Frank J. Connors, Jr., a lifelong resident of Reading, died suddenly on February 21, 2015. He was 51 years of age. Frank was born in Medford, Massachusetts on April 15, 1963, the son of June T. (Bailey) Connors of Reading and the late Frank J. Connors, Sr.

Frank graduated from Reading Memorial High School Class of 1981. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He worked at P & S Market in Reading where he had worked for 31 years and was currently the store Manager. He was a longtime member of the Wakefield Elks.

Frank was the Husband of Kathleen M. (Murphy) Connors; devoted father of Jason P. Connors of Reading. Brother of Mark F. Connors and his wife Debbie of Wakefield; Timothy Connors and his wife Helen of Reading; Tracey A. Hurley and her husband Brian of Wakefield; Thomas J. Connors ; Sheila M. Connors and her fiancé Stefano Barrasso all of Reading. Loving uncle of Patrick, Sean and Ryan Connors; Tarynn and Andrew Connors; Meghan and Molly DelGreco. Nephew of Robert F. Bailey of Lowell and son in-law of Paul and Elinor Murphy of Salem NH. Brother in-law of Patricia Murphy of Methuen; Mark Murphy; Paul and Michele Murphy all of Melrose. He is also survived by many cousins.

His Funeral will be held from the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Wednesday, February 25, at 11:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 12:00pm. Burial to follow at Wood End Cemetery, Reading. Funeral home visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-8pm.
