Forrest E. Douglas, a resident of Medford since 1957, died April 4, 2014 at the Woodbriar of Wilmington Nursing Facility in Wilmington. He was 89 years of age.

Devoted father of Wayne E. Douglas and his wife Michelle of Hampton NH; Jack F. Douglas and his wife Cheryl of Wakefield; James P. Douglas and his wife Deborah of Boxford; Kevin M. Douglas and his wife Joanne of Reading; Sharon M. Douglas, Steven L. Douglas and his wife Kerrie all of Medford and the late Alan J. Douglas.
Cherished brother of the late Robert Douglas and Jean Ryan.
Loving grandfather of 17 and great grandfather of 6.
Funeral from the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Wednesday, April 9 at 930am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am.
Funeral home visiting hours Tuesday from 4-8pm.
Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Forrest's memory to the Alzheimer's Assoc. MA/NH Chapter 480 Pleasant St. Watertown MA 02472.
Forrest was a veteran of WW II, USCG.
