Filippa F. "Fannie" (Falzone) Dell'Aria a resident of Reading for 24 years, formerly of Wilmington and E. Boston, died March 30, 2015 at the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Wilmington. She was 92 years of age. Fannie was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on October 16, 1922, the daughter of the late Michael and Felippa (Giugnio) Falzone. She was the wife of the late Vito J. Dell'Aria, Jr.; Mother of Connie Walker and her husband Bill of Reading and the late Phyllis La Monica and Vito J. Dell'Aria III. Mother in-law of Cecilia Dell'Aria of Woburn. Sister of Joseph Falzone and his wife Maureen of Wilmington and the late Mary Palumbo, Jennie Buscanera, Josie Rizzo, and Rosemary Woodside. Loving grandmother of Michelle Sullivan and her husband Scott of Tewksbury, Denise Palmieri and her husband Joseph of Saugus, Brian Walker of Reading, Diane Heistand and her husband Chad of PA, Josh and Adam Dell'Aria both of Woburn. She is also the loving great grandmother of 4. Her funeral will be held from the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Tuesday, April 7 at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10:30am. Burial to follow in Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Funeral home visiting hours will be Monday from 4-8pm.
