Dorothy J. (Amendola) Saunders of Reading passed away at her home on January 17, 2017. She was the beloved wife of Courtis Saunders. Devoted mother of William C. Saunders of Reading, Robert P. Saunders and Diane of Wenham, Jean S. Claflin and her husband Mark of Lynnfield and Richard S. Saunders of Reading. Loving grandmother of Kelsey and Leigh Claflin. Cherished sister of Jean Wanagle of Needham. Dorothy is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 22 at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading from 1:00-4:00PM. Funeral services and burial are private.
