Debra Ann
Pace
Sep 5, 1956 — May 20, 2023
East Boston
. Debra Ann Pace, age 66, formerly of East Boston, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 20th, 2023, after a courageous 6-year battle with breast cancer. Debbie, born in Winthrop, MA on September 5th, 1956, was the beloved daughter of the late Nicholas and Joanne (English) Pace of Everett, MA.
Debbie attended Everett High School and graduated in 1975. She dedicated many years of her life as a valued employee of United Airlines and maintained close relationships with her colleagues, whom she considered dear friends.
Debbie's life was defined by her extraordinary capacity to form deep and loving connections with both friends and family. Above all, her devotion to her three children and their significant others was unparalleled. She is survived by her daughter Tiffany P. (Madsen) Lynch and her husband Christopher of Reading, MA, Bradley J. Madsen and his wife Samantha of Melrose, MA, and Rachel D. Pace and her fiancé Keith Henderson of Manchester, NH. As a devoted and passionate mother, she played a constant and guiding role in her children's lives. Debbie cherished her time as Nana with her four grandchildren: Russell, Elise, Isla, and Cole Lynch of Reading, MA. Nana was renowned for her cooking, adventurous spirit, and warm hugs.
She is also survived by her loving siblings: John Pace and his wife Linda of Wakefield, MA, Linda Kelley of Palm Coast, FL, Nicholas Pace and his wife Geri of Revere, MA, Stephen Pace and his wife Pam of Bridgewater, MA, Joanne King and her husband John of Kissimmee, FL, Kenneth Pace of Revere, MA, Brian Pace and his wife Ruthann of Lynn, MA, and the late Mitchell Pace. Debbie also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends whom she loved dearly. She spent much of her time engrossed in conversations with family and friends. These relationships were treasured, and it was a common sight to find her daily, deep in conversation over a cup of coffee. Debbie gained a reputation for her straightforward advice, which was often exactly what the person needed to hear. Her wisdom was sought after by many, as she would be the first to tell you she was never wrong.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. in Reading on Wednesday, May 24 at 10:30am. Burial will follow at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. There are no visiting hours.
