Carolyn W. Pendexter, a 43 year resident of Reading, MA passed away on November 8, 2014 at Meadow View Center in North Reading, MA after a long battle with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy, Heart disease, Breast and Ovarian Cancer. She was 68 years old.

Carolyn and her twin sister Joyce (DeVivo) was born on April 14, 1946 in Melrose, MA to Channing O. and June (Richards) Widell. She was a 1964 graduate of Melrose high School and a graduate with honors from Robie Secretarial School in 1965.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister and her youngest daughter Valerie R. Loveys who passed away on April 14, 2014.
She leaves her husband of 46 years, Carleton G. Pendexter, Jr. A daughter Wendy P. Jones and her husband Christopher of Valencia, CA, Son-in-law Sean Loveys of Seattle, WA, grandchildren Brady and Catelyn Jones, who she was particularly proud of. Additionally she leaves her bother- in-laws John Pendexter and his wife Jodi of Moultonborough, NH, and Kenneth DeVivo of Bel Air, MD.

A celebration of life will be held later in April on a date to be determined.
