Brian Christopher Gottwald of Reading died suddenly on December 17, 2014. He was 29 years of age. Brian was a shining star, who always lit up a room, and will be greatly missed by those who loved him. He was the Beloved son of John and Karen (Donelan) Gottwald, devoted brother of Matthew and Caitlin Gottwald all of Reading. In addition, he is survived by his aunts and uncles. Robert and Tina Donelan of Villa Hills KY, Kevin and Catherine Donelan of Peabody, Maureen Donelan of Amesbury, Joanne O'Brien of Randolph, Jim and Diane Kenney of Abington and many cousins as well as his loving dogs Lilly and Kaiser. Brian's funeral will be held from the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Tuesday, December 23 at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10:30am.
