Betty Jo Adams died June 5, 2017. A resident of Reading for over 60 years. Born in Vernon, TX on August 10, 1929. The daughter of the late John T. Gibson and Delia May (Woods) Gibson. Beloved wife of the late Russell H. Adams.

Betty Jo and her husband worked together in their photography business. She was office manager and bookkeeper for Russ's photography business and a member of the Reading Priscilla Chapter #52 Order of the Eastern Star.

Betty Jo is survived by her son Richard H. Adams & his wife Linda (Foley) Adams of Denver, CO, her brother Thomas Gibson of Tyler, TX and her grandsons Richard H. Adams, Jr. and Robert James Adams.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Douglass, Edgerley & Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) Reading on Friday July 14th at 1:00 pm. Burial is private.
