Arliene T. (Dodge) Thorn of Peabody, formerly of Lynnfield and Reading, died November 11, 2014 at the North Shore Medical Center in Salem. She was 93 years of age. Arliene was born in Malden, Massachusetts on July 5, 1921, the daughter of Fred H. and A. Louise (Spinney) Dodge. Arliene was a long time member of the Centre Congregational Church in Lynnfield. Her family was first and foremost in her life.

She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond E. Thorn. Devoted mother of Raymond E. Thorn, Jr. and his wife Ann of Granbury TX; William F. Thorn and his wife Nancy of N. Reading; Sally L. Luzietti and her husband Richard of Plainville, CT; and Nancy T. Turner of Fairfax, VA. Loving grandmother of 9 and great grandmother of 9.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday November 14 at 11:30 am at the Brooksby Village Chapel (McIntosh Building) 300 Brooksby Village Dr., Peabody. There are no calling hours and burial is private.
